So, Josh has been at home for almost two months and I have loved every minute of it. Well, his streak has ended as of tomorrow. He will be starting his temporary job tomorrow and sadly we are all sad. The kids will not have daddy to pick on when they wake up or take them to see the cows. ahhh.. I would take them myself to go feed the cows, but I am a wee bit scared of them and plus when they see you bringing the hay they start to crowd around you, which is something I am not fond of. (i guess we will see). It has been so nice to wake up and not worry so much about making breakfast or making sure the kids are not doing anything crazy. Josh took over that job these past weeks, while I was able to shower and get ready for the day. It's nice to be ready for the day around 8:30am and not 1pm. Well, we are going to miss Josh at home, but I guess duty calls..someone has to make the funds around here..lol.
Well, this past week we have been busy traveling and just having us a good time. This past Saturday we were able to hang out with Vee and Nick. They took us to a water park/swimming pool in Kamas, Utah. The kids loved it and so did Josh and I. There were slides and so many fun things to try. The kids loved every minute of it and plus afterwards we had some tasty pizza.
The next day was Mahonri baby blessing, Vee baby boy, and also Cory little girl blessing. They are such cuties. Taytay and Tyler have more cousins to play with. It was a fun day because we were all able to enjoy the nice weather in Provo and bbq outside.
Monday, we left to Farmnington, NM. There we were hooked up with some brand new tires for our ride. Josh friend gave us a good deal and lets just say we were happy to not pay the full price of 1000.00, but only less than half of that. It was well worth the trip for that price. We spend two days there and I was able to visit with some family. It's nice to see family. We had a yummy breakfast with them.
Tuesday evening we headed to Kayenta and stayed with my brother at his new home. So we were pretty excited to check it out. The kids had a dandy time spending some time with Angel. They played all night. The next morning we finally headed back to Castledale, utah. It sure was an eventful week! We were planning on heading to Page with Josh dad, but found out this morning that Josh would start work tomorrow morning, so that smashed our plans.
I guess it's back to being adults and getting back to work..lol....
