Five Years Old

I can't believe my baby boy is now five years old! Gosh, they grow toooo fast! Tyler was super excited about his Birthday! It seems like he waited forever to turn five years old! It all started when he found out that he too can start school when he turned five. He really did not like the fact that Tay was going to school and he wasn't. Or maybe the fact that he would be separated from his big sister, cause the truth is, he loves to do everything with her! When I say everything, I mean everything. They're kind of like twins, but I think to another level! I tell him to do something. This is his response, "Is Tay gonna help me, is she gonna come with me, where's tay, is taylor going, etc...." Do you see what I mean.

Well, Tyler is now five years old and he is pretty stoked! He gets to go to school! I couldn't be more proud of my first born son! He's growing up to being a gentle giant. He is very soft spoken, but can get a bit loud. He freezes once I start yelling at him! Like for example: I catch him drinking punch in front of the tv and not at the table, I am up to my limit and I yell. "Tyler! Where do we drink our punch!" He gets up fast and in his attempt to get to the table he spills his whole drink." So yelling really doesn't help when I want him to get things done. I can only imagine when he gets in sports.!

He loves his siblings.

He has a very good memory and will not let you forget what you said.

He loves animals.

He loves candy.

He loves spiderman, batman, etc.

He loves helping grandpa on the farm.

He loves tractor rides and also riding on the 4track.

He loves helping out doing house chores and farm chores.

He loves being with Taylor!

We had a small tiny b-day for him! I did not make a bus cake for him. I'm discovering I am more of a store bought cake kind of mommy! Cakes are not my thing. For his b-day he got some batman t-shirts, coloring books, farm toys, and this spiddy blanket I made for him with his name sewed on. He loved it!

Also, because school is starting soon we could not forget his backpack! He loved it!

Taylor and Tyler are only 11.5 months apart! (Crazy huh!) And they really have been inseparable since.
