My baby has turned three years old! Ack! Where has the time gone! What I've learned about my kids and their B-day's is the cake and candles are a big deal. I haven't mastered the cake making thing, but the candles fill in my weakness. They love lots and lots of candles. And I figured why not! It is after all the best part about the cake, blowing as much candles out as you can! So, with Talon I loaded his cake with candles and he was AMAZED!
He was super excited about his Birthday! I know I need to jump in on the whole decorating and what not, but gee, it just seems every summer, Josh and I find ourselves in limbo with a new move and what not! I keep telling myself I am going to make banners, have balloons, etc.. but I fell short once again. I'm not very good with invites either, maybe because I like to keep it small and private. :)
Here is Talon getting a bit shy from us singing the Happy Birthday Song!
Taylor and Tyler so badly wanted to blow out the candles. There were so many, Talon was a bit overwhelmed...lol
But he did it! Mission Accomplished!
And quickly after, the gifts!
Talon received lots of fun things!
He received a batman cape/nightgown from Uncle Nels, clothes from Grandma, batman mask, batman and spiddy t-shirts, spiddy toys, and a big batman toy with cars!
My little man was excited!
Not only did we celebrate his Birthday, but we also celebrated Angel's baptism!
That indeed was a special event too!
Well, with little man being three here are a few things about him. He loves toys! He is the only one out of our bunch who will play with his toys for hours. He will find a spot and sit and play for hours. Taylor and Tyler can not do that. They have to have someone with them all the time.
So, when Josh and I buy him toys or when Tyler's gets a toy, we know they will be put to good use, because our little man will play with them for hours at a time. His imagination sparks!
I can only imagine what he was thinking when he opened his batman gift! We were excited for him!
Talon loves juice. If he could, that would be his meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Well, besides the loads of fruit and carrots he down. He loves him some carrots! He literally can eat a whole bag of baby carrots. I have those on hand all the time.
He's a smart cookie, thanks to his older siblings. They have taught him so much already! He's communicating at a faster pace.
He loves the super heros!
He loves his daddy and often waits for his return. He loves his mommy as well, but mom being pregnant its kind of hard to wrestle with. He loves to wrestle!
Happy Birthday Talon! We love you so so much!
