In one of my earlier post, I stated that I was going to bake more often. I am not a baker, but I am adding it to my to do list. I have to start some where, right? Well, this need to bake all started with my neighbors. My neighbors have been delivering plates of yummy treats, almost every other night. It really has been a super treat. Well, it got me thinking, just maybe I could whip up some delicious cookies. So, today we made sugar cookies!
So, Josh and I's first Christmas, with no kids, Josh bought me cookie-ware stuff. I mean I got over fifty pieces of cookies cutters, a roller, a pan, etc.. Everything was for baking?! I honestly have to say I don't think I was tooo excited. I just never was the baking, treat, person. LOL and Josh new it too. Well, its taken me seven years to finally pull out all the cookie stuff and I'm finally HAPPY to use it and I appreciate the gifts NOW. It only took seven years, but better late, than never.
My kiddos love this new side of me. They had tons and tons of fun!
Talon especially loved the frosting. I still need to find a favorite homemade frosting.. haven't yet!

Fun! The girls and I made cookies the other day too. Did you Laurel Johansens recipe? Taylor is so cute in her apron. :)
