Trip To The Rez 2 and A New Baby

Josh passed the test! Him and another guy were the only two who passed out of the 23 applicants that took it in Tuba! Super proud of my hubby.  So, this meant on to phase 2 of the application process! This time around he would go against a nine panel interview process and it was to take place in Page, AZ! Again, the kids and I were super excited, because this meant more family time! Yay! But of course we can't forget the 10 hour plus drive.  We meant up with Grandma and Grandpa Begay while we were in Price.  Its funny how quickly the kids forget about Josh and I when they see Grandma and Grandpa.  At Grandma and Grandpa first sighting, Tay and Ty quickly grabbed their boaster seat and put it in Grandpa's ride.  They crack me up!
We spent a good two hours with them and the kids were super sad to see them go. Josh and I decided to cruise a different route! Instead of the green river, moab, blanding route, we opted to take another route. It was actually more of a scenic route, but we had fun!
We checked out some places we could go to on our next trip, if Josh stays in the running for the job!
For the life of me, I can't remember the name of this place.  The water was a bit dirty, but it was still nice to look at!
We had fun enjoying the environment! It was a fun and relaxing drive, esp, when the kiddos fall asleep. I cherish my quiet time. lol
The kids received their Easter baskets early from Grandma! She made one big Easter basket for them! They luved it! Thanks Grandma Begay!
I had fun playing with my iPhone and the instagram app!
We stopped in Mexican hat! We figured the kids needed a leg break!
Almost to MV! I luv that place.  We are almost home!
Josh and I have come to a realization that we love small towns and hope that we can raise our kids in a small town.  Logan is still too big for us.  Its smaller than provo/orem area, but I guess we are just small town people!
I had fun playing with my iPhone.  It has quickly replaced my nicer camera..eck.
Of course the first person we visited was Jacob. This time around he was a happy camper!
My Taylor loves babies so much! She wants to change diapers, carry, wrap, etc... I luv her natural mother instincts.
I think Jacob was happy to see Auntie!
Talon decided to walk the walker! lol
I just luv this little guy eyes! So cute!
We spent the day with my sister.  She fed us some good food and I was able to pick up some new recipes! This time around our trip was super fast.  We had to squeeze travel and interview in a two day trip.  Josh could not get extra days off, so our trip was fast and super tiring!
We started our last day Early! Josh interview process was scheduled early that morning in Page!
The day before, the day we arrived in AZ, my brother and his wife headed to Page to deliver their baby! Well, there was no delivery that night, but it was for sure today. While Josh was at his interview, I help my brother with Kirstie.  Kirstie decided to go natural with no epidural.  I commend all those ladies who decide to go natural.  It looks like a lot of work.  Half way through the day, Kirstie was tired from a almost two day labor of contractions and pain and wanted the epidural.  Once she got it, she was fast asleep for a couple of hours.
While I was helping out with Kirstie, Nels, hung out with my kids! They went to the park and grabbed some treats!
Josh called us about two hours later and we picked him up! Josh and I decided we stay for the birth of my brothers baby! It was super exciting!
While we waited the kids and Josh took a dip in the freezing cold lake!
Later that evening Amuru Jacoby Parrish was born! My brother finally got his boy! It was a precious moment and one where I cried! It was beautiful! I sadly had to go and the kids were not able to see their new cousin because of RSV season ( i think that's what its called).

This was my last shot and I had to leave. We did not get back to Logan until five in the morning!! We were super tired, but yet, so thankful to witness a birth! Congrats Nels and Kirstie! He's beautiful!
